Hey everyone -

I have been lurking around this forum (and the A Bodies) for quite a few years now. I was able to find and purchase a 1971 Challenger a few months back - so I decided it is finally time to get an account.

All of the reading on the forum has helped me out tremendously with this project and several others in the past - so thanks!

DetMatt1 wants pictures - but anyone that is expecting beautiful --- cover your eyes now. Last warning...
So - this is the day I got the Challenger. I bought it from a guy that had it sitting in a field for 20+ years. Had it towed to the house where I lived at the time. Did not get a whole lot down on it for the first couple months that I owned it. Lack of space and time mostly. But, now I have way more space and much more time - so I have been tearing into it.

And I will get progress pictures all uploaded eventually to a project thread sometime shortly. I live out in the country now and I am extremely lucky to even have Internet that is running at a blazing peak of about 3mb down and maybe 1 up at its absolute best - so sitting around waiting for uploads is basically like sitting and watching rust form on a piece of sheet metal. Where I am at, you really don't have to wait too terribly long - but it is certainly not fun.

Cheers.

I'd say you were lucky to find this gem in as good of condition and complete as you did.
