Getting on board in Hollyweird CA

My dad used to take me to Willow Springs to see the AMA Superbike races and when I grew up and got out of the military, I started doing trackdays on a Daytona 675R in Northern California and got picked up as a coach. I still dream of riding Willow Springs.

I donated stem cells there a few years ago!

Great choice
It was a pale green 1973 Challenger Rallye I saw on craigslist 5 years ago that got me into a Mopar.
Wow, those Daytona's are nice. No wonder they use the motor exclusively in Moto2 now, though it's the newer 765cc motor. I had a 2000 Speed Triple 955i with a pipe and it sounded amazing. It screamed like a flat 6 Porsche, which is no surprise since it's half a flat 6. That's impressive to become a coach. Good for you! I went to three Keith Code Superbike School sessions as I got into racing. That definitely helped me get acclimated.

Beautiful car! Thanks for sharing. Keep the shiny side up!
