Burning up Wires on Doug’s Headers

ive got a 360 with Doug’s headers and even though I have the wires loomed back I’m still experiencing some burn on my wires. Is there anything I can use to stop this? A guard? I know I can use a wrap but looking for something else. Thanks!

I burned wires for years and finally stopped it by buying a top quality set of real silicone wires and proper angled plug boots.

I've had the plug wire sleeves for years on my 71 440 challenger and they look and perform great.
