I have a 318 barracuda and have a ld4b intake that i want to put on . Just trying to decide on Carb for it. Ive been looking at the summit street trip 600cfm with vaccum secondaries. is that i good choice or should i be looking at something else.

I've had good luck running the Holley 80457. It's a 600 vac secondary with an electric choke, calibrated for a late 60's engine. I've run them on daily drivers in for all year round with the electric choke hooked up properly, it won't stumble when cold in middle of winter. And they are cheaper than the generic Holley 1850 vac secondary which comes with a manual choke for about $25 more....

Another good one too look at is the Holley 570 Street avenger , small a responsive .
I really like the Proform for tenability but not sure they make one that small
