Been doing some research on my 300 inline 6 for my '78 F250 and it seems the hot ticket for ignition systems is this:

Ha ha ha, oh yea, nothing like a Chrysler part in a Ford. What the heck, cheap, easy to hook up and effective.....very.

That's actually what I like about this set up. Seems the hot ticket for just about anything these days is the GM HEI because it hooks up simple, but can be a real pain in the butt to service. This keeps the simplicity of the Duraspark distributor, but eliminates the junk Duraspark ignition with the bulletproof Chrysler ECU. Which can be changed out with one of MP's boxes if the need arises. So the upgrades to this system can be made. Ingenious on the behalf of the builders of this!
