I was looking for some Cragar mags on Craigslist. I noticed that some Cragar mags have slotted openings for the studs. Are Cragar mags for a Mopar round and not slotted? Thanks

I think the slotted rims are for multiple bolt patterns.
I have some slotted keystones and some slotted turbine's.
Not surprised there are cragers with slots instead of standard holes.
Pics or a link?

The standard Cragar SS rims are uni-lug and will fit three bolt patterns 5x5 5x4.5 and 5x4.75 I swap them from my 70 challenger to my 69 chevelle. They do make direct bolt on pattern as well.

I have found the chrome on the SS mags peels off easily .
Depends. The newer wheels do. The older wheels are much better quality. I bought mine when I was like 15 years old in the 80's used at a flea market just because I thought they were cool. Been on my cars since. These wheels are dated 1982 and still look good today.

Back in the day (1970's) I saw a lot of Cragar SS wheels that were rusty. This was in Kansas and I don't really recall the roads being salted there in the winter.

Lol, still have some of those Cragar Crustys in the "way back" shed ..............
