I have a that has offer a drive shaft to me for my project 73 Challenger. Its an automatic. His drive shaft is from a 4 speed 318,1970 Cuda. Will it work? He said he change an auto 70 cuda over to 4 speed many years ago and kept the original d/s.

Not sure as to your question but the Challenger wheelbase is 2 inches longer than a Cuda`s if I had to guess I would say it will not bolt up as is.

If your transmission is a 727 the yoke is the same I am 90% sure. I haven't worked with a 904 trans in a long time. The Cuda driveshaft is too short. It will go on the trans and connect to the rear end, barely. If you run it you will get driveshaft vibration and possibly throw the shaft. The shaft can be made to fit the Challenger. A shop will use both ends and weld a new longer tube to them.
