E-Body part

can anyone tell me what this plastic part goes to on an E-Body?

I have a 71 Barracuda and the part does not look familiar...

We have no reference as to size. Put a ruler or coin next to it and take another picture.
It looks almost the shape of the ECU plug.
Is there a Pentastar or number on the part somewhere ?

Voltage regulator plug retainer

No pentastar or part number. Voltage regulator plug retainer might be it but reference photos I looked at don’t show this retainer in place.

It’s the voltage regulator plug in shape. It has the clips on the side to retain it in The regulator. Did it come off of your wire harnes?

No it was loose. The plug looks like it would fit the VR perfectly.

You may have resolved this issue already? I looked at a used wiring harness I have from a 71 Barracuda and it has the same fastener (in white) to secure two wires to the voltage regulator. My new harness from M and H has the securing device but its made of metal and a little different.

Yours is white? Maybe a Plymouth vs Dodge thing? Can you send a photo?
