Unless the used ones are in good condition to start with you would be better off buying new ones, once they are dried out and chalky there is nothing that can be done to restore them if you remove the top layer to get back to good plastic the textured grain goes with it so you will end up with a smooth weird looking surface. As for originality you can't tell the quality repops from originals and how many show judges are going to pull door panels off to look for pentastar logos or part numbers? The repops will look more original then the messed up restored originals.
