fuel sending unit

Should there be a ground wire or strap on the sending unit at the tank of my 1970 cuda I brought a new now from classic industries and there don't seem to be a bolt or wire lug for one and idea's Thnks in advance R

If I remember correctly there is a little jumper clip that spans the rubber hose between the sending unit and the hard fuel line mounted to the body.

Adam is correct, a metal jumper strap goes from the sending unit to the fuel line jumping the short piece of rubber line providing the ground for the sender.
The link in the attachment he gave looks correct.
