Garage squad

I found someone to help with heater box, dash, and steering column. Parts I really needed help with. Got that completed. Now I can manage the rest. Waiting on an oil pump gear for 4 months now. Hopefully when that gets here can fire it up. Hasn't ran since 1998.

The best way to get the younger crowd into these old rides is the Gen3 Hemi route. Maybe it alienates the stock restoration purist. In my opinion, there's value to be had going the modern engine route. The kids dont know, dont care about old school technology anything, especially carbs.

we had auto shop at vo-tech back in the 80's, i just looked up the school program, and they do still have automotive and construction trade classes, including auto body and mechanical. It is now called LISD.
