I have the TKO600 with hydraulic clutch and run 4:10s . I love it , no problem banging gears with 540 HP or cruising down the highway in 5th. Only average around 10 MPG but could care less about that.

The gear vendors is a tough unit , works very well & you can shift to od in any gear resulting in a 8 speed , this would be my first choice .
It would depend which tremec you are looking at , the Viper T56 Magnum or T 6060 are great , not a fan of the TKO so much notchy to shift at higher RPM

GV is about 3k. That's better than the $5k for the Tremec. However the GV has more modules/switches that have to be mounted and I'd prefer the stock look or have them hidden.

uh oh your tearing into already. I thought about this also. If I were to go with a stick shift I would use tremec T-5 hydraulic clutch. But, you will have about 6,500 when done, but it will be cool. If I were to stay auto I would use 200R4 and have Wilcap make an adapter. I wouldn't use G/V shitty final O/D gear ratio. Sorry just saw you already have a 4speed you wouldn't have to spend that much. I would stay with a stick over auto.

And I believe you can do the 200R4 for under $3000. And not have to worry about all those switches.

Yes I know But the final gear reduction I believe is .74 Yes they are built great, But if you want O/D go with something that is going to give you a Lower gear ratio in your final gear. My .02

We bolted a G/V to my 727, running a 3:91 rear gear on a 26” tire. It went from 3600-3700 rpm @70 mph to 2700-2800 rpm @ 70. Plan on doing some exhaust mods and some trans tunnel massaging. 2 switches and some wiring, not a difficult install. Lots of fun to split gears.
