Hi All,
Thanks for letting me join this forum. I recently picked up a '72 'Cuda 340 4 speed, (5 speed now) and am looking for parts to make it my own:

Thanks, Paul

Welcome Paul , Good looking car !
looks like the front T bars are adjusted too high .

Yeah sorry about that, I don't have any other threads yet other than parts request to put up in the WTB section yesterday.

Okay, here's the story as I was told. This '72 340 4 speed Cuda is from Connecticut. It was last owned by a gentleman who used it for 1/4 mile drag racing. He had the motor stroked to a 416, aluminum Edelbrock heads & RPM manifold, an extremely aggressive cam shaft, I don't know the spec., with an 850 Demon on top. TTI headers & 3" exhaust out the entire length. 5 speed tremec, 3.91 posi, drive shaft loop, QA1 upper & lower front control arms, line lock and finally a Stewart Warner Oil pressure gauge under the dash.

This gentleman passed away and this was in his estate. None of his relatives wanted it and they had F40 motorsports in Connecticut sell it on consignment.

I looked at the pictures and bought it and had it shipped to my place in Nevada. I have since taken it apart and it is currently in a shop having some of the metal replaced. My plan is to mellow the motor out with a less aggressive cam and carburetor and drive the hec out of it in my retirement. :)

Drivability sure goes a long way. Glad your fixing up some of the problems.
The one picture we get to see sure is a stunner for sure! Great looking car!

Being a 72, I'm curious of the fender tag readout. Any unique codes on this car?
