Headlight switch bezel hole

Does anyone know what this opening is for on the lower right side of the headlight switch bezel?

Thanks but that hole is on the bottom, it would shine down to your feet. That makes sense but I don't think that's what it's for.

Lower right side hole is for a convertible top switch or rear defroster switch Picture is my 1970 challenger convertible.

It was actually the slot on the very bottom of the bezel that I was asking about. Found out it's for the A/C-Heater panel light.
