PLEASE HELP! Trying to understand difference with E body SLAPSTIK indicator lenses.

Need help understanding 1970 versus 1971-74 Slap Stik shift indicator lenses. I'm working on my 1970 Dodge Challenger RT with the original 440. I'm replacing the chrome top plate, the black plastic slider plate, and the gear selection lens. My original lens says 'Slap Stik,' but the 1970 reproduction lenses I can find don't have that text. Meanwhile, the 1971 to 74 lenses do say 'Slap Stik.' Since I've already ordered the correct 1970 chrome plate and slider plate, I'm wondering if a 71-74 "Slap Stik" lens would fit and look right with my 1970 console parts, or if I should just accept the 70 part without the lettering. I prefer the lettering! What's the actual technical difference between the 70 and 71 indicator lenses? Anyone with original parts or factory info, I'd love your help.

Here is the official '70 lens that I readily available, BUT I want to replace it with one reading "SLAPSTIK" as seen in the recent photo of my console in vehicle. Did someonebody once upon a time before I owned the car put a '71-'71 lens into my '70 car? Is there any reason I can't just purchase this '71 lens and put it on with my other new hardwear thats on the way?

It's not much of a risk, so I will probably just go ahead and order it. Was going to take the chrome plate and slider plate out anyhow cuz the new ones arrive Friday and I can take a close look at my cracked "Slapstik" lens then.... But it's worth a roll of the dice!
