I’m a 15 year old from Pennsylvania. I don’t own any mopars yet but my dad has owned three that people here care about, a 1968 imperial, 1969 Chrysler 300 convertible, and a 1970 Challenger RT 440 six pack convertible. Here’s some pics of the challenger when my dad owned it and after he sold it.

Welcome to the site and thank you for sharing the pictures of your dad's Challenger. That's a lot options on the car (i.e. shaker hood and luggage rack I can see right off). My parents had a 68 Imperial and I kick myself every day for not taken it when they offered it. It had set awhile and the brakes were bad. I was in too much of a hurry to get home, I left it behind. My brother got it and his step son totaled it. God only knows what he hit to total a 68 Imperial!

It originally wasn’t optioned that well. I think it had only the super track pack and an am radio. The brakes were known problems on those imperials even though those brakes were the best disc brakes of the time.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!
the Budd disc brakes still are the best factory set-up till that time and a little after I’d say. I currently have 2 ‘67 Coupes.

Is this color combo original on the Challenger? Do you maybe know the VIN?
