Thanks everyone! So I have a problem, The car has a 440 in it and we have noticed that the Center Link is rubbing on the oil pan. Looks as if it has for a while but I had new motor mounts installed and it appears it worse. So please tell me what could be a solution??

Some questions that may help someone provide some solutions;

Is this an original 440 (or big block) car?
What oil pan is being used?
Are the motor mounts stock?

Pictures would be helpful as well. Obviously something isn't where it is supposed to be and there are a few possibilities;

Wrong pan
Center link installed backwards
Motor mounts installed wrong
Incorrect mounts

OK the engine is NOT original, now has a 440 motor. Motor mounts were replaced last year and are rubber but there is old rub and new rub on pan. Center link is installed right way, ( took car in for front end alignment, guy said it was but wouldn't do anything because of rub, said it was a waste of money till fixed). I have heard to turn link around, or maybe put shims under mounts. From what have been able to find out this is common when the motor has been changed out to bigger motor. As far as the pan goes I have no idea what it is and cant get under it until Tues when it goes back to the shop.

Swapping in a new motor is nothing new, been doing it for years without issue as has many others. The question then becomes what did the engine or at least the oil pan come out of? However if it is just "rubbing" you can massage it some with a hammer to get a little bit of clearance without ruining the pan or risking anything. If however it is "hitting" the pan then you will need to make some adjustments.

Despite what someone told you this is not a common occurrence because these cars were designed to take a BB and so long as an engine/pan is used from a passenger car they usually fit ok but in some circumstance the pan does need a little modification (rear hammer here). The pick up is usually in the center of the sump in the pan so denting the front near the center link shouldn't affect much, just dont go crazy.

New motor mounts (aftermarket) are seldom anywhere near the quality of the originals. Thinner and softer rubber isolators mean less clearance. Possibly other minor differences from the OEM mounts as well. If you're using OE mounts, then that shouldn't be the issue, but aftermarket mounts could play into your clearance problem.

Where is it rubbing/hitting? Is it on the sump (part that hangs down) or the pan itself (like directly above the center link)?

:welcome: aboard. If all parts are factory eg.. motor mounts, oil pan, suspension components and there has been no damage to the front end there should be plenty of clearance as has already been said the 440 was a factory option for the E-body platform.
More detailed info and pictures are needed.
Or it probably happened because you let someone else (husband) drive it and your car didn't like it !

Welcome to the site from Michigan!
Once we see pictures of the pan, center link and motor mounts we will be able to see what's really going on. Also show us pics of the transmission support and mount as there could be something wrong there that is causing the trans to hang too low.
