I have a fresh World block Hemi motor with a Milodon oil pump with the adjustable oil pressure kit, which i believe comes with a high pressure spring . I have 105 pounds of oil pressure at idle. I do have 50W break in oil in the motor which i will probably change to 40W. Does anyone know if the red spring is the lower pressure spring for the RB & hemi?

Red i lower , Black is higher .
I would leave it as is & run a lighter oil .
My 440 was similar over 100 at idle cold dropping into the 70 range hot

Why do you have such thick oil?

do you know the bearing and piston to cylinder clearance?

far too much oil pressure

I plan on running a 10w30 or 40. We'll see. Bearings are .003 & .003 with .005 piston to wall. I just found a red spring if the pressure doesn't drop with lighter oil

I could live with 70lbs. Its 105 hot! I'll try going down on the weight. Step 2 red spring, i can always run the pressure up with the adjuster screw.
