I want to put 833 with 392 in my 74 challenger with the trans in the stock location so shifter will be in right location. If I do that will the back of the intake hit the firewall. Mainly the runner controls. Also I was told to use tti mounts to achieve this. Motor is 2019 srt and 833 hemi trans. All help appreciated.
Ps. Would also like to use the mopar performance cast headders if they will fit.

I have done this , I installed a 2016 392 with a 833 into a 70 Cuda , it will fit , the lip on the right frame rail has to be notched to clear the alternator , the oil filter housing will not clear the K frame if using the stock K frame . TTI mounts were used & a Milodon oil pan & pick up . TTI Headers were used , molded 90* hoses were connected to the heater core before installing the engine . The gas pedal is one of the most difficult things to make work modifying the drive by wire to the correct angle .
The factory manifolds will interfere withe steering box .

I believe you need to use a small block bell housing with the 392 hemi and 833 transmission. So if you currently have a "833 Hemi trans", you'll need to swap out the bell housing. Should be a fun ride with your combo.

Did you use stock cross member for trans? Or Holley? Did you have to shorten the imput shaft? Did you use remote filter? Thanks again Harry

Yes stock trans crossmember , didn't shorten the input shaft , used a Dakota roller brg & remote oil filter system

That's correct, the Gen 3 hemi has the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the LA engines.

Just need to match the size of the belhousing & brg retainer , 4.35 " / 4.80" or 5.125 for the OD 833
