If you or anyone you know is bidding on that basket case 73 Cuda from Md. on ebay feel free to message me for the rest of the story- it's already up to what I think is crazy money, but I went to see that car before it's ebay appearance. I just joined FEBO for this 'educational' reason only. I am a member of all the sister forums to FEBO, but mainly the truck forum. I'm not going to talk a bunch of smack here and maybe the recent episodes OF F-n-L & MG and the prices of the 3 Cudas? have clouded peoples judgment. MAYBE it's just me. All I'm saying is that there is info NOT disclosed in the ad. l8r, crossy

welcome from central new york! yes i must agree some people see that stuff on tv and they think they have a gold mind. when it's all said and done they will get what the market will bear. some times the parts are worth more than the car

I am guessing you are referring to the 340 car. It is rough. I looked through the pics and did not see anything that looked dishonest in the photos. If people want to pay that kind of money for it; it is their money.

The ad is not dishonest- it's just that I know there is much more that SHOULD have been disclosed. thanx for the welcomes.

Welcome to the site. If you don't remember anything else in this life it is this " CAVEAT EMPTOR " which translates to " Let the buyer beware " Nuff said.
well I know in my 1st gen diesel truck world I am an honest seller, and MANY of those trucks are complete junk already- I know all about caveat Emptor when i'm buying. I posted this in case YOU or someone YOU may wind up helping, could get the story if need be. I realize what some of those parts are worth , but I think that car is at full money already and there are 5 days left.

The car comes with partial quarters, (looks like Goodmark). It needs full quarters. It will need outer and possibly inner wheel houses. The floors are going to need replaced. The roof has leaked in and rusted all the way through the floor corners under the rear seat. Most likely it needs cowl work. The frame rails may need attention. Pretty much every panel needs some work. What isn't of need to be replaced has surface rust. Motor and trans will need at minimum taken apart for new seals and inspection. It will need all new gas and brake lines. Tank is probably bad. Looks like the hinge is rusted on the glove box door. Dash frame may be bad (rust out) in the lower corner. This car was not in a barn. It was in a field maybe under trees. It has green mold in places that has not been cleaned off. I get that and more from the pics. I agree that it is at it's most reasonable price. People may be willing to pay more. We will have to wait and see. What is it that you want to tell us?

The roof has leaked, MORE TO THAT STORY,NEEDS COMPLETE REPLACEMENT(notice no pics of the gutter rails) The frame rails may need attention.-MORE TO THAT STORY,LEFT REAR RAIL IS TOAST (he has pics I gave him), BOTH ARE,CRUSTY, PAPER THIN AND THROUGH,ESPECIALLY AROUND SWAY BAR MOUNTS,SOMEONE CHISLED A HITCH OFF THE REAR PORTIONS. Motor and trans will need at minimum taken apart- MORE TO THAT STORY- Looks like the hinge is Dash frame may be bad (rust out) in the lower corner-THERE'S EVEN MORE TO THAT LITTLE STORY. This car was not in a barn.-100% CORRECT It was in a field maybe under trees-100%CORRECT, BOTH VALANCES WERE IN THE GROUND.

It's a shame someone let it sit like that and then wants to sell to some poor hopeful. On the other hand the chances of it being saved and returned to the road may be in its favour now

crossy, was this your car at one time? You say, "he has pics I gave him". Did you sell the car to the Ebay lister and the lister is flipping it? It still comes back to buyer beware. I gathered what I did from photos looked at on a cell phone. No one should ever buy a car that looks like this one without seeing it in person. If you don't know a lot about the cars, have someone with you who does.

Wasn't mine- I was the first to look at it before ebay-- I am NOT a Mopar expert, but know a lot about muscle, trucks and ROT repair. sold/ fixed, scrapped many vehix and LOOKED at hundreds more. Looks like I should have bought it- not told the truth- and flipped it for $3K profit- NAHHHHHHHHH
