I though I traded for a set of Indy 440-1, but it turns out they are 440-S/R heads according to Indy. This actually seems like a better deal for as far as standard style rocker arms, no specific intake manifold etc.

My question is, does anyone have experience with these heads while using a hydraulic roller cam setup and possibly on a stroker?

Indy was helpfull with identifying the heads but not much beyond that which is understandable since I haven't spent a dime with them yet.

Any help is appreciated as I'm getting closer to dropping my engine stuff off at the machine shop to get it machined and assembled.

More CI with the same size heads increases velocity & drivability so either the power will peak lower or they cam be ported to match what you want to do .
The fact that you are using a hyd roller is typical for street use build so that should also work .
