I acquired a 72 Challenger from someone who began the project and decided he didn't have the time to keep going. It's torn down and has some metal removed. One front inner fender has been completely removed and the other is about 90% removed as well as the entire core support with no measurements. I've found the core support to firewall measurement searching the forums but can someone help with the inner fender to inner fender measurements right behind the upper core support and back near the firewall?

Found the firewall measurement on another forum, just need the measurement inner fender to inner fender just behind the upper core support.

hope this helps first measurment is between the center most bolts second is between outter most bolts the other end of tape measure is at the center of the bolt head third is the bolts i measured

oh and the rad support flange looks like it goes on the outside of the inner fenders

A picture speaks volumes. let us see what you have left. Are the firewall brackets still on the firewall? You can get 1,000 measuments from every one here.

I have the passengers side cowl support on and the firewall bracket and inner fender tacked. Nothing on the drivers side yet. The upper cowl support measures 7 1/8" from the inside to a square against the side of the cowl.

when you have the other inner fender and rad support tacked or screwed on do a x measurement they should be equal then bolt fenders on to ckeak the fender to door gap

I was expecting a picture like this. Front laterals and shock supports on? I only see a sentence not the whole story.

Ok got it. now I see the story. looks like you removed all firewall bracing, shock tower and put back. should be close enough. First thing shock support did you measure from shock hole to hole and set back to measurement? 34 1/2"? next find center of core support and mark, counter sink an 1/8" hole,it wont move. 26 5/16" to inside of fender at core support.I think have to check. With the firewall bracing in place even temporary,on the back shelf the is a hole. pull a mason string to core support mark to establish center line. establish center and mark on cowl.I drill a 1/8" hole.It will be covered. Then you know it's a good line. On the roof front and back there is a notch you can check for alignment. Then from cowl to rad support use it for center line. hood with is about 52 1/2" +1/4" for each side gap 53". the fenders come in over top a over the inner fenders little bit . so that is an approx aliment measurements. The objective is to have everything fit with in the parameters of the measurements. There are no Tram measurements that I have ever seen.To check for squareness do cross measurements on the inner fenders. there is good chance that you will see a difference,do to set back. that's built into the chassis. The inner fender have adjustment forward and back fender are side to side. As I believe someone said the 1/4s and the doors have to be set.Front rails in good alignment. From front of core support to firewall it's 48 1/8" following along the top inside of the inner fender. the 2 pictures there 3 measurement that are pulled from the rear shelf hole to the inner fender back edge of hole and one to the core support. AFTER YOU have good center line drop a plumb bob to the K frame hole with car level.remember the string is a 1/6" that's an1/8" off center. Think 3D.

Yes. I have 34 5/8 center to center.

Where are you located? I built an alignment jig prior to disassembly based on a early production 70 Challenger. I no longer need it!

Here's what I did. Made a jig to help line up everything. I machined bushings that fit snug in the shock towers to locate everything. I know it wont help your situation but maybe it will be useful to someone. First pic is before, others are after.
Starting on the inner fenders this weekend.

I also sent private messages to MoparMike and Rich but also putting this here - if you two want to sell the jigs you have I am happy to buy them

I responded to your PM. I already cut that jig up since I finished the front of the car.
