motorhome 440 piston upgrade

I ordered speed pro 2355 stock bore pistons to fit in my 440 engine,very low miles 74 MH 440.I ordered them off Summit 6 months ago and they aint going to arrive til atleast October!!
I wanted to increase CR and Motortrend used some 2355's,who stocks stock bore pistons,one of my pistons has issues hence need new set and would like to increase CR.cheers Jon

The block's deck height may be taller than earlier versions, too. When you FINALLY get the pistons, mock it up and measure how far the pistons are in the hole. Check all 4 corners to see if the block is square. They typically vary some. A straight edge and feeler gauge will get you close if you don't have more precise tools. The block can be decked and squared by any competent machine shop to set the comp ratio or squish that you are shooting for.
