My 1971 Hemi challenger convertible The Creation

I know how rare and cool 1970 hemi challenger convertibles are. Since dodge discontinued the RT in the 1971 convertible and the biggest motor you could get was a 383 I
decided to create one. I took an all original 318 convertible with 31000 miles and added a hemi drive train to it.
The motor is a 1966, rebuilt to factor specs, 426 hemi.
The tranny is a date coded 1971 hemi automatic tranny
The rear end is sure grip 323 gears in 489 casing
I just purchased set of 1966 date coded carter afb hemi carbs (very pricey)
Upgraded exhaust, hemi k member, and drive shaft.
The only repop is the shaker setup
The car was rust free and was repainted in ppg plum crazy purple
All original sheet metal
The interior is completely original
I am very happy with the way it turned out.
I am in search of space saver spare I have a correct 1971 jack.
I also looking for 426 hemi shaker badges.
Hope you like “Delilah” hopefully what a 1971 hemi challenger would look like.

You have a really nice Challenger hemi vert recreation. Looks great. It took a lot of work to get it looking that good.
The other Mopars look pretty good too!

I know the hard work it took to get it to that level. I converted my 318 Convertible to a 340 Six Pack which was never offered.
