My 70 Challenger project. Got this car from Canada. Is a A66 340 4 speed car factory sublime green. First picture is when I got it. Primer hides alot....lol. Almost done with the back. Replaced both quarters, tail panel, deck filler and trunk lid.

Hello from New Jersey
Love the A66 Challengers
Have one my self; a Y1 yellow, automatic convertible that I am currently working on.
Looks like you are doing a great job working on repairing the body.
Looking forward to some more pics of your work.

I too am a fan of these non R/T performance Challengers. Does yours have a fender tag o build sheet? Does it retain its original drivetrain? Build date?

It does have a fender tag but the build sheets and the drivetrain were long gone. If I recall right the build date was in November 69.

Do you believe it to have its original hood? It should be a non-crumple zone and it may or may not have holes for emblems. Would you mind posting up a pic of the tag?

Not sure about the hood haven' got that far yet. When I got it, it had holes for the lower side scoops for a 71. So I'm not for sue what all was changed.

I'm not going back with the white top. Thinking probably a R/T clone. Picked up a 440 to put in it.

I don't understand why you'd want a 440 in a factory 340 car.

Because the motor was free and I have most the parts already to build it .

Nice project. Will look good when done in that combo. Mine was missing the original drive train also so I improvised.
