My brother bought this 1970 cuda car in late 70s from California
It needs a few things to get it back to original
It needs factory mirrors that I don’t have. Painted or chrome?
the put original dash and gauges back in it that I do have.
The carpet in it I’m not sure if it’s original or replaced
and it has a Carter carb on it but was told it should be a Holley
it needs a muffler and resonators.
And needs seat covers or new seat covers
I can’t find a build sheet and the fender tag is lost
So any help would be appreciated
I’m also on E body’s Page

Welcome to the site from Arkansas! We would like to see pics if you have any. If it had Holley carbs, then maybe a six pack set up. The vin# can help. Anyway, send photos and any info. These guys can help for sure. Glad you’re here.

Welcome from Panama
Without a build sheet or fender tag there is no way to prove anything , so put on the mirrors you prefer , if it was built in LA there is almost never a build sheet anyway .
Accurate has exhaust if you want stock or TTI if you want better .

Really nice ride JD, doesn’t appear that it would take much to get original if that’s what you want. I WOULD!
Just looking I bet it has the original block. Hopefully the trans too. Check the numbers on the engine block and transmission. See if they match the vin.
Cheers!

Welcome to the site from Michigan!
Nice looking Cuda  . Is that the original California sheet metal?

A '70 383 4 barrel 4 spd car would have a Holley 4160 carb.

Yes it is, original paint also a low production number I was told . I pulled the back seat looking for a build sheet so here’s a picture of the floors, but I’ve been questioned if it’s original carpet and I can prove if it is or not with no fender tag.
