Hello All,
Its a great feeling joining a group of fellow E Body enthusiasts.

I have a 70 RT SE U-Code Challenger from the LA Plant, and my younger brother owns a
70 RT U-Code Challenger from the Hamtramck Plant.

Welcome to FEBO from New Jersey
Nice RT/SE 440 Challenger
Do you have an automatic or 4 sp?
Curious as to what other options both cars have!

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
Does anyone know how many RT SE U-Code Challengers were assembled in the LA plant?

They made a total of 875 RT/SE 440 Challengers in 1970.
Of that number, 733 were automatic cars.

So you have one of the 733 cars made.
Not sure if you can break down those numbers between Hamtramck and LA, the only factories that made 70 Challengers?
Barry Washington at the Hamtramck Registry may be able to shed further light on any break down of numbers between the plants.
If you look at his registry counts; about 25% of 70 Challengers were made in LA while roughly the other 75% in Hamtramck.

Only the Hemi Orange car is one of the 733 SE U-codes , the Blue car is not an SE, but it is a U-Code. We also had a JS29N0B RT SE, but sold that a few years ago.
Thanks for the info, I'll follow up with Barry Washington.
