I’m John, I’ve revived a 72 challenger recently. The car has some history, my father in law was a mopar or no car man. He purchased one for each of his children my wife being the youngest. We finally got in a place where we could afford to get it running so I’ve spent all winter going through the motor tranny brakes and all in between. It’s on the road, still shaking it down. It has a 318 in it now, but I have procured a 340 to go through next winter. The car does have a 7 1/4 rear end, I’m on the look out for an 8 3/4 in the NW Oregon area if anyone has for sale. This forum has helped me more times than I can count getting this thing rolling again. I need to get this one in good shape so I can build my own.

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! Nice looking 72 Challenger! Post a "wanted to buy" for your 8 3/4".

I've been to Sandy Oregon many years ago in my 70 Challenger visiting the wife's cousin who used to live there. Beautiful country!
