Hello all,

Recently got back in the game. My first mopar was a 73 Charger SE 400. Had several that followed but none in the last 20 years. Just got this 1970 Challenger 383 auto. No history on the car but mostly original Ex trans. Car had a major restore in late nineties, but then mostly sat. Tires were in new condition but dated 1999. Yes they have been replaced. Working through teething issues from sitting and some issues that appear to be post restore attempts to further update or areas that the restore didn’t address. All in the game. Having fun learning my new ride. Happy to be here. Matt

Thanks all. Appreciate the welcomes…when I first got the car all that sitting broke loose. the fuel tank sending unit leaked, the rear main seal leaked, the steering box appears to have a leak, the convertible motor started leaking and then the cylinders too. I said oh boy you knew this would happen ( I do remember the bad days of the good ole days) but been having fun with it and appreciate the forum, looking forward to it all.

Welcome to the site from Michigan!
That's what happens when our rides just sit around, need to drive 'em.
