Your car appears to have the short V5X or V5W moldings.
Are the v5 moldings original to the car?
Are they called out on the fender tag?

What moldings are you referring to? The car is the same as it was when my late husband bought it in 1974.

The moldings on the side of the car are the v5 moldings.
Not sure if yours are v5x(black insert) or v5w (white insert)

If you mean the stripes along the door, they are white.

After closer examination of the pieces from the one picture I deduct that these are the 70's aftermarket V5 moldings. can't really tell without really close pictures. Does your fender tag have V5W on the top line?

Always had a soft spot for the 71 with the quad headlights, that and the grill really set the car off!!!
