Any progress on diagnosing your over heating issue?

Taking it to a buddy’s shop on Monday to test ohms on factory gauge and make sure thermostat isn’t faulty (just put new one in 2 weeks ago). I’d prefer to not put after market temp gauge in, id like to keep it original. Hopefully gauge is only reading like 190, not the 230 I was thinking (slightly over center maybe 60%). I’ll let ya know what I find out!

cold case said no way I should have cooling issues with that 26” rad dual electric 12” fans, rated for 700 hp. So we’ll see!

No not original, it’s a 72 blue 383 car painted to be an AAR. I loved the White and black, totally unique! Rebuilt 440 makes 520 hp. And drove it around for an hour after golf today, 105 and zero heating issues!!!
