Hello Everyone and thanks for the add. I am new to this form and still fairly new to this hobby. I have been in possession of a 71 RT 383 car for about 9 years with a slow frame off started. The project has been stalled since we had kids and medical bills associated with one of their illnesses.

these first images are the 71 as found and rescued.

Started repairing the rear at first, sandblasted to the front firewall and went to work. Trunk, rear seatbelt areas and rear window channel needed some major metal work.

rear Fran rails had some minor/moderate rust which warranted replacement.

Hey Dylan, welcome to our site, thanks for the pictures, good job!
Take care of yourself, the family and the RT.....

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Nice work on what looks to be a great car. Is there a fender tag or build sheet with it? Originally orange over tan? Is it numbers matching?

Welcome from Ohio!

Family, God and Country.
Cars are part of number three and come from the grace of the first two!
I see an awesome bronze R/T with a super rare tan interior!
Odd the fender tag screws are there but not the tag - is it gone? I see bumperettes and a three speed wiper so it had some options.

Good job! Putting it back together is the fun part, keep it up. And best wishes re:the illness.

Fender Tag is secured, no build sheet was recognizable, originally Dark Bronze Metalic (K6), with white stripes and a chestnut interior. The 727 is gone and this one appears to be from a late 70’s pick up. The 383hp is a date code correct warranty block. The sheet metal is all matching.

she was highly optioned, the fender tag was secured and a replacement made as well. Yup a K6 Drk Brnze Metalic with Chestnut interior and white stripes. Kids are good just set us back financially.

Dylan, welcome to the site from Michigan. You are doing some very nice fabrication work there. Is that your RR or GTX sitting next to your Challenger?
I am kind of biased to GK6 in a '71 Challenger:D.
