I have two AARs. One has its original perfect grill and one had a grey perfect Gran Coupe grill. I have a total of 4 new B,E,and A grills for AARs in molded black plastic. I have two other Cudas that need restoring so I bought three grills from mike for those. The last two only came without turn signals but he was selling those at a discount for $550. I’ve got extra NOS turn signals. I’ve pulled these all out of the box and everything fits perfect. I’ve installed one and it fits perfect. Then I’ve still got 4 originals grill that are all very nice. They are hard to sell now because all the repops are out there. I don’t need any grills. I’ll ask and see if I can find you a buyer. You said you are in a foreign country? Shipping is the killer there. Sorry you had trouble but I’m satisfied with what I’ve got. I don’t need any more grills and I’m not buying anymore cars. Why don’t you post pictures and a price. Someone may want to buy it?

fastmark, I am glad you are happy with your purchases.
And yes, shipping from Canada is expensive for sure, but if I have to, I have to.....
The truth of it is, I did think of selling my kit, but I am no crook like mike is , so, I have to state all the flaws and then show in pictures all the problem areas, like the over spray, bug foot prints (might not show well in a photo?) And most importantly, how the steel trim pieces do not fit worth a damn....
Now I don't have any problem doing that, i am honest and don't like deceiving a buyer anyway, especially if the buyer is a member. What I would have problem with is , our members here thinking that, with all the imperfections, I must be a lunatic for wanting to get what I paid for it!
Fastmark, do you get that subtlety or you think I am too sensitive?
fastmark, you think people, in this day and age are willing to spend their money on a documented and photographed botched job?
Tell me, I really don't know what's going on in the U.S. Now, has the insanity taken over EVERYONE???

I can’t tell you anything other than I’m happy with mine and I can’t see yours but I think you could advertise them and sell them. Good luck. As far as what’s happening in the US right? I’m ready for Texas to succeed from the union. The only problem is figuring out how to dig up Austin and catapult those liberal sum beeches all the way to California!

About these replacement grilles, I have read in a
couple of places that, in years past, there was an
excellent batch of 1970 grilles made but they are now long gone. Current replacement grilles, and I
don't know the sources, are evidently much lower
quality.

According to "mike", he had the first batch made from a 3d printed model , copied (by a 3d camera) off an nos grille.
But then, the whole setup was later sold to a factory in chiwan and thats when quality started to diminish.
That's what I was told, anyway.....

I would still like to see pictures of the grill. I need to get one of mine out anyway so I’ll take pictures of mine and post them so we can compare.

What I’ve been told is that the other grill that was no where near correct is the goodmark grill. It is completely different tooling and is real cheap and nothing fits, including the trim. BEA is the only one that made the parking light assemblies and they no longer have the tooling to make those. I did talk to PG classics and they said they were trying to get those made again. I don’t look for that to happen.

Now this first picture is the sexiest of them all, the bottom edge of the grill is slanted backwards but the moulding is still square!? Did the original Chrysler trim have this shape for the bottom lip trim?

Hey fastmark, I noticed you visited the site this afternoon. how are you? how about all these beautiful pictures? I posted them as per your request buddy.

When you have time on your hands, I would love to hear about what you think of the shoddy work I got from A/B&E.
What ever you might "have been told" about Goodmark, well I can't confirm that, but I can confirm what ever I have told everyone here.

I’ll get mine down and take some shots this weekend. The overspray is normal. Even oem ones have that. I can’t see the bug flaw picture, it’s not clear. The trim seems to be the big problem. The original trim is not square. I’ve got both and will post both pictures. It’s is in a BEA box for sure.

Evidently, I typed this yesterday but forgot to push post.

I’m planning on getting it done this weekend. I’m in the final days of a make ready for one of my rentals so I’m in a time crunch. Putting those grills on the top self 15’ up in the air seemed like a good idea at the time! You posted so I will as well. I’ll even pull one of my oem grills out for comparison. They are floor level.

I can tell you this from my memory, the trim on oem grills is not square. It follows the taper of the grill. Oem has different trim from top to bottom because of the contour. I’ll follow up, I’m not bailing on this.

I finally was able to get my latest two grills down from top shelf and do some proper comparison. Bare with me as I tend to be thorough. The first picture is of my original AAR grill still in the car. It is an original paint car I bought in 76. I did remove and paint the grill in 89 when I painted the engine compartment. The chrome trim fits fine but the trim is not tight where the lower trim ends meet the headlight bucket trim.

The second car is my green AAR I bought as a parts car in 79. It has the right fender and header replaced with NOS parts. You can see the stamped part no still. I assume the grill was NOS but not a black one. The trim fits a little better on the ends but the lower trim is loose on the grill.
