Didn't have this piece when torn apart. What is it called, or where can it be purchased? Duct tape? Just kidding

Are you talking about the gap between the duct and the heater box? If so, nothing goes there.

Yes, that gap. Never was anything there when I took it apart. Lots of air loss.

No tape on this car. There was tape holding it together when I got it.

heat rises , the system works without sealing the gap , how often do you need defrost anyway , most of these cars are babied now !
