power booster color

Does anyone know what the original color the power booster is on a 71 challenger? Black, or that gold colored one?

I believe the Bendix booster was semi-gloss black and the Midland-Ross booster had a gold-cadmium finish .

If there's a band holding the two halves together it's a Midland Ross booster...it's zinc dichromate plated. Booster Dewey rebuilt mine and replated it.

My car has the larger diameter bendix booster.
