Question on reassembly of 73 Challenger parking light upper support

Putting together my car, and it was missing parts when taken apart initially. Is there a bracket or spacer of some type that attaches to the top of each parking light and fills the space between that area and the bottom of the grille support where it attaches? There is about a 2" gap and it looks like it is missing a small bracket or spacer.

Haven't got that back from painter as yet. I will check, I just recall there was a gap. Thanks for your input, Ted.
