radio installation

Just brought a new recon radio and was wondering if there are any tricks to getting it in correctly seems a bit tight thanks in advance.R

Factory Service Manual 1970 Group 1 Page 5 Very simple especially if it had one before and still has the support bracket, 2 mounting bolts and proper face plate trim. 5 minute job. Depending on how easy it is for you to work on your back. If you are big like me, might have to remove seat.
