rear vinyl trim

posted pics of rear vinyl trim.. sent to shop to have vinyl installed. came back with different roof rail spacing--which is correct??? also what holds the las 11" of trim to roof rail to the roof have all correct clips in place---this is the original trim

which is correct---what keeps last 11" of trim in place--have all correct clips in place----ends are not flush to top

Image ending with 54 is the way I typically see it and is how mine is. When you say last 11" of trim, which trim, the roof rail trim or the vinyl 1/4 panel trim? The vinyl 1/4 panel trim has a clip like shown in ths photo that is hidden by the headliner a few inches back from the convergence of the two.Trim Clip.jpg

Is there supposed to be a washer included with these clips? Mine did not come with them. does the washer go under the nut or between the clip and the outside car surface?

that what i used, no washer---forward of that there is another clip--then there is 11" of no clips or pins just "floats" without being secured on the 1/4 trim to roof rail

Sail panel 71. You might be able to loosen the nuts and push it around front. maybe they pushed to much into the splice.
