Hi Guys,

I did a search here and didn't find this question previously asked so here goes....

I need to replace at least one of the stainless steel headlight surround pieces on my original 1970 Cuda bezel. How exactly is this trim piece held on? Just thought I'd ask hoping that someone here has 'been there, done that' and can advise me on how to safely remove it and install a new one so that I don't crack my bezel in the process.

Here's a pic of the type of bezel I'm talking about, with the trim piece already attached.

Thanks!

The trim snaps on . There are about 6 plastic tabs molded into the bezel and the trim just snaps over it. You can use a thin flat blade screw driver to pry the old one off. It doesn't take very much pressure so don't worry about breaking anything. Here is a picture of a bezel without the trim attached so you can see the little tabs I was talking about.
