Hi I have a 1973 Barracuda with a 2BBL 318 and auto, i plan to swap in a 400 from a Cordoba and wondering if i should save the old orig engine trans in case i were to ever sell the car- would it bring more money?

If it were a BB car or a 340 car, it would bring more money with the original parts. A 318/904 probably not. HOWEVER...I'm not a fan of separating the original engine/trans no matter what it is. So yes, I'd keep them.

When was your car built? What are the last 6 digits of the VIN?

WOW, very early build. Like I said before, if you have the room, keep the original drivetrain.

May sweeten the sale. May not. Just depends on who the buyer is. Could keep it then if you ever sale it pull the BB and put the teen back in.

Just that it's a fairly low VIN. It was probably built in August. There will be a MDH code on the VIN sticker on the door. That will tell you the month/day/hour that the sticker was printed. That's most likely the day the car was done on the line.
