Does anyone know where to get the loop that holds the seat belt up on the side between console and chair.

I’ll be interested to hear what year those straps showed up. Not a 70-71 thing as far as I know.

I've never noticed the strap before, when did they start appearing on consoles? Are they on both sides?
They have always been there. If you look at your console right above your seat belt there should be a hole in n the console to hold up your female seat belt to prevent it from falling down between the seat and console.

I have two E-Body automatic consoles. One was cast mid-year 1969 and other 1970. No holes in either side. I came across a console on Marketplace cast in 1972 with said strap.

I own two 70 Challengers and neither one has these loops nor a hole drilled in the consoles for them. I also have two extra 70 consoles and neither one if them have them either. I do have another console that came out of a 72 Challenger and it does still have the loop attached. I am guessing here. I am thinking it is a 72-74 thing?

Yes, I am getting that information is correct. I am surprised that it was not original from the start. My 72 Mustang has a hard plastic sleeve that the female part of the seatbelt sits in that prevent it from falling down in between the seat and the console. One of the members here gave me a location I might be able to find more of these at. One favor I would like to ask of you, can you remove the one from your console and measure the link so that I can order these. I think I am going to buy enough to reach the minimum order and resale them for cost to the members here. I only need 4, 2 for each of my challengers.

The seat belt loop support was added for the 1972 models. In addition to E-bodies, it was added to the other passenger car lines as well. The loops continued through 1974. The loop supports were also used for bucket seats with fold-down center seat. The original part number for the E-body loop supports is 3550156.

The following diagrams from the service manuals show the loop supports for bucket seats with consoles:
