I am sure it can be done using a smaller Sanden type compressor , you may have to create mounts to reposition the compressor , we fit a 440+6 with the Sanden , I do not believe the shaker sits lower than the 6 pack base but it may not be a bolt on

You can use the factory a/c heater box and just change compressors. You also would have to make new a/c lines. That is the way I plan to do mine.
