Small Block Mopar Headers

Those are the standard low end small block headers for all Dodge and Plymouth cars. This exact configuration has been made by Headman, Hooker, Mr Gasket, Blackjack, Cyclone, etc, so on and so forth. They are a decent budget header. At $140 for coated units, this isn't a bad price.

As others have pointed out, three tubes on the driver's side wrap around the drag link/tie rod. Installation requires removal of the driver's side tie rod.

In my use, I have never hit these tubes on anything. But that is highly dependent upon your car's ride height. However, every car I've purchased that had these on them, had those three tubes flattened on the bottom, so obviously they can be damaged. Several tests I have seen over the years show that some restrictions in header tubes are not an impediment to performance, so the damage I've seen hasn't been a factor in degrading how well the engine runs.

I had a set of ground beaters back on my 70 duster.
That was all they made back then. I promised myself I would be good, and not enter the hilly interections fast. (Seattle but envision streets of san fransisco).
They lasted 2 days.
Now I have tti. Best money ever spent.
