spark plugs, what do you use?

I'm detailing the engine in my Challenger.

Once the engine is finished being detailed it's going to receive a fresh tune up for spring. I'm doing the whole boat. Plugs, cap, rotor, and wires.

The engine is a 69 440 with 906 heads and a 6 pack. What brand plugs will run well with this combo?

I'm the type of guy who usually runs OE type plugs. In my Chevy's I ran A/C Delco and in my Fords I either ran Motorcraft or Autolite. What plug do you run in your Mopar?

Champions were standard on Mopars.

Same here... using Champions for 40 years... also, AC & Autolites

we dyno tested a SS hemi a few years back looking for every possible HP & took 20 different types of plugs , the results were simple the more the plug cost to buy the more power we LOST . Champs & Autolites made the best power

Doesn't surprise me.

Personally, like a few respondents, it depends on the application. GM/Delco, Ford/Motorcrap, Euro-trash gets Bosch and rice burners usually get NGK's, but I've done cars like Hyundai with Champs, too, as an OE supplier.

I've read on other boards guys cussing Champs. I like 'em in my Mopars. Always have. I've heard a lot of racers like Autolites and have had no issues.

I've had issues with Autolites. Too many customers coming in the door with misfires which turn out to be broken plugs installed just a few months earlier by someone else. But like I said, I've heard the racers talk about 'em and love 'em. Maybe Autolite uses lesser quality control for "street" plug numbers? Don't know.
