Speed master heads and valve spring issues

I bought a set of speed master aluminum heads so I can run unleaded 93 and had them worked to assure everything was spot on. I also got a lunati voodoo 703 cam with lifters and springs. I was checking over the break in recommendation and they suggested to remove the inner springs but the machine shop also removed the dampeners so I went to reinstall the dampeners and noticed that the installed height is different from stock heads and now confused as to weather these springs are correct and or if they will even work with these heads.
Has anyone used these heads and had this issue? I am at a standstill until I figure this out.
