I just got my car put back together after restoration a 70 cuda 440, starts up great when cold, but after it runs a while and gets up to temp I shut it off and try to restart it and it cranks really slow, almost like the battery is dead and won't start. But after it sets awhile and cools off it starts right back up. It has new everything battery, starter relay, alt, starter 2nd one I've tried, both battery cables. Could it be the cheap aftermarket battery cables not being a heavy enough gauge? And does anybody know what gauge cables it should have on it? The negative is a 4 gauge but don't see any markings on the positive. Any help please!
