steel crank? May 1975

[74 challenger]

im looking at a 1975 360 so would it have a steel crank? Is the engine worth $350 ? Its a tall block dont know this casting number next to the head 360-5L-18032-CM,BLOCK IS 4006830 AND DATE IS 16-5-75. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. HP? WORTH BUILDING MILD ENGINE

The high performance 360 4-barrel engines from 1974-75 have a shot-peened cast crankshaft for added strength. The crank is ok for manual or automatic Super Stock racing. Part # P3751605 . Hope that helps.

What is the condition of the engine? If it is ready to bolt in it is worth the $350.00

Careful with the mid 70's 360's...I tried boring one out and ran into water @.020 over.
