Hello, any help would be greatly appreciated. I've got a 1970 Challenger RT 440-6pack with rallye gauge package. The temperature gauge has not worked on the car since I purchased it. What are a few of the things that could be the issue?
Thanks,
Larry

There’s a inexpensive sending unit screwed into water pump housing. Make sure you have it hooked up. With the key in the on position, you can ground that wire and see if the gauge reacts.
mymopar.com has good access to repair manuals.

there is a pulsing 5 v to the oil /temp /fuel gauge , if the other 2 are working you have voltage from the regulator to the gauges , so you can test the rear of the gauge for 5 v or test at the sender & work your way back to to the gauge . basically you could have a bad sender or continuity through the wire or a bad gauge
