I know we all have a long list of cars we never should have sold. As far as E bodies, my one big mistake is my 71 cuda. VIN# BS23V1B199916. It was red with black vinyl, billoards, rallyes, shaker, pistol grip and the list goes on. The original 440 was gone when I bought her, and being a hemi guy, it was only natural to install an elephant motor between the fenders. That hemicuda got more looks and attention than any other hemi car I ever had. Ok...so lets hear about the ones you let getaway and are kicking yourself for now.

Well, I had a chance to pick up a near mint survivor 72 Cuda with a 383 4 speed (I believe it was....seems right in my memory banks)...it was a brown or cinnamon metallic with a mint black vinyl top........14 grand and needed not a blessed thing..........

I have been KICKIN' myself since.............

(then there's that 66 Charger Hemi for 18K back in '98, also near mint, and of course the Hemi S-Bird in NY that went for $3300. cash on the death of it's owner......True story guys......as Maxwell Smart would say, "Missed it by THAT much!").

I will try to find pics to post of the red cuda. Other ones that got away were mostly B bodies, as they are what I am mostly into. 69 hemi Superbee, Hemi Coronet R/T convertible, 69 Charger R/T and unfortunatly...the list goes on. I remember passing on a 66 Hemi Satellite for $2,300, 70 V code Charger for $1,500 and then there was the 70 440 cuda for $800 and the 71 cuda ragtop 340 4 speed for $1500...and so on and so.

Mine was a 72 Dodge Demon 340, and a 74 Pontiac GTO. The GTO I just didn't know better, and the Demon I had bought for $2500 then bought a house and didn't want the Demon to just sit so after I had bought $2,000 worth of parts, I sold the car for $4000.

Easy this was my car in college
1970 440 auto lemon twist yellow, white top and stripes and power windows.
sold it to buy a 71 340 4 speed B5 blue in hopes of getting better gas mileage .

That would be my first 70 Cuda, a 340 4 speed numbers matching car. Back then numbers matching was not a big deal and the muscle car market not what it is today. That car today would be worth 10 times what I sold it for!

If you want to talk cars in general, then it would be a little 64 Chevy Malibu I had back when I graduated high school. I pulled that car out of a salvage yard and put a 327 and 4 speed in it and it was a great car to drive!

Here is a list of the Chrysler product cars I have owned and sold over the years, that I can remember.
1966 Barracuda Formula S 273 w/4spd, A/C White with Red interior. My first car.
1970 Challenger 440 six pack w/4spd, Sublime with Black interior.
1950 DeSoto Suburban hemi, Bronze colored, eight passenger with roof rack. Was destroyed in a fire.
1956 DeSoto Fireflite Convertible, hemi, Red and White with black, white and gold interior.
1960 DeSoto Fireflite 2dr htp, Blue with blue interior.
1954 Chrysler New Yorker, hemi, 2 door coupe, leather interior.

Only old Mopar I have ever sold was a 70 Duster. That and the totling out of my 72 Demon realy tore me up in side.

72 demon # matching 340 car
76 d-100 big block 4speed truck, it was awesome
72 Dart, the green one on the right
65 Satellite, but my 21 year old son has it now
71 Duster, the BEST car i ever had.

I wish I had bought my younger brothers '71 340 4speed Duster. only 35 thousand miles on the odometer, painted it myself. He sold it almost 15 years ago when the prices wer'nt as bad but my kids were small.
