What's the oldest gun you own.
I wouldn't even try to shot it.
Was in a box of things in the storage garage we cleaned up after the cuda was sold.

There was a British arms company that used a bulldog symbol; Webley & Scott Revolver and Arms Company Ltd of Birmingham. they made guns for the British army until the 1920’s. Many made their way here to the US.

Bring it to a gunsmith and have it looked at. I would definitely not shoot modern ammo in it!
 
Got the time of the end of the month going on? Thought you would shoot everything per phone call. But you do have a great phone sex voice my wife said.

Don't know much about guns but that is bigger then a 22.
Same here.
So took it to local gun shop today.
It is a 22.
I was told there were two production types
First were stamped on side of barrel
2nd stamped on top like mine .
Last year for that 1898.
He offered me $75.00 for it.
I brought it home.
 
Is the hole in the barrel the same size as the hole in the cylinder could be a mismatch of parts.
